About The Event
The scene is set around a hairdressing salon called Affair With Hair.
The blend of memories and real-life situations brings about a surreal and unique fly-on-the-wall look at the day-to-day affairs of life as a hairdresser; however, the characters we meet are fictional. In fact, David once owned a salon using with this very same name.
The play takes us on a journey through the eyes of 2 stylists, Richard & Julie; revealing both their working and private lives and how at times it becomes difficult to separate the two.
We meet other characters including the eccentric Mrs Beaston & Mr Winthrop, the impressionable but innocent Chantelle-Marie, the devoted Mr & Mrs Noble and the sexually ambiguous Lorena.
